[02:55.00]From the dusty mesa
[02:55.00]Her looming shadow grows
[02:55.00]Hidden in the branches
[02:55.00]Of the poison creosote
[02:55.00]She twines her spines up slowly
[02:55.00]Towards the boiling sun
[02:55.00]And when I touched her skin
[02:55.00]My fingers ran with blood
[02:55.00]In the hushing dusk
[02:55.00]Under a swollen silver moon
[02:55.00]I came walking with the wind
[02:55.00]To watch the cactus bloom
[02:55.00]A strange hunger haunted me
[02:55.00]The looming shadows danced
[02:55.00]I fell down to the thorny brush
[02:55.00]And felt a trembling hand
[02:55.00]When the last light warms the rocks
[02:55.00]And the rattlesnakes unfold
[02:55.00]Mountain cats will come
[02:55.00]To drag away your bones
[02:55.00]Then rise with me forever
[02:55.00]Across the silent sands
[02:55.00]And the stars will be your eyes
[02:55.00]And the wind will be my hands
